Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of purchasing agreements on a global scale.
• Negotiations with suppliers all over the world on a daily basis.
• Help develop and implement purchasing strategies
• Have up-to-date knowledge of potential suppliers.
• Maintain all outsourced and contracted relationships and opportunities
• Maintain database of all current and potential suppliers contracts
• Ensure supplier compliance
• Develop procurement procedures in conjunction with management team
• Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP Processes
• Evaluate processes using six sigma, KPI, KAN BAN, etc.
• Maintain supplier profiles and strategic supplier relations

Job Requirements:

• BS Degree (advanced degree preferred)
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry desired
• 8 years experience in a procurement environment.
• Experience with ERP, MS Office suite (Excel, Visio, Projects), e-procurement.
• Effective oral and written communicator.
• Driven individual with strong time management skills
