POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a Commodity Manager, you will be developing procurement strategies for your specific commodities. Commodities are highly technical and highly engineered.You will work as part of a cross-functional team, interacting with all aspects of manufacturing. You will source from low cost countries including some travel overseas.You will work directly with suppliers to obtain the objectives you are charged with. This position reports to a Director level individual. This highly visable position can lead to promotion as we look for 'fast trackers' that are motivated to move up within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS: You must have a four-year degree and at least three years experience in a similar role for manufacturing. MBA is an added plus. Engineering degree also a plus.You must have some experience with global sourcing including experience traveling overseas to source. You must have a good mechanical aptitude with excellent communication skills.This is an outstanding opportunity. Relocation assistance is available.
