In multiple location environment be responsible for directing and coordinating the procurement of materials, components, supplies and services essential to the operation of the division. Oversees the approval and control of all purchasing activities. Investigates new developments in materials and supplies. Makes recommendations on improving the quality and cost of purchases. May have responsibilities for worldwide purchases. Supervises personnel. Also responsible for process improvements for procurement, developing metrics, leading regular performance review meetings, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and inventory control.
