Purchasing & Safety Manager
Local manufacturing company is looking for a Purchasing & Safety Manager. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor Degree plus 4 to 5 years of Purchasing experience and some Safety experience preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures as well as knowledge of computer procurement of materials and services to support production and the implementation of systems to control inventory.
This position is also responsible for government compliance ref OSHA, AIR, NESHAP, etc. and all safety programs.
Candidate must have good analytical, organizational and communication skills, must have expertise in the administration and day-to-day management of the department and must be a take-charge person who is a strategic thinker and good negotiator.
