JOB DESCRIPTION:EXCITING OPPORTUNITY-GREAT FUTURE
***HOT HOT HOT** Handsome Compensation Package:
Salary range $90-110k (depend on skills)
Bonus plus Relocation package to be provided
for the selected candidate.The Global Commodity Manager – Fabricated
Metals -drives global procurement competitive
advantage for Production Support worldwide
and its categories which include machining,
painting and anodizing, assembly, and sub-
assembly. This position is responsible for
approximately $500M> in spend.
· Responsible for building a globally
focused organization managed through
Regional Commodity Managers.
· Responsible for directing strategies
and work effort in commodities in highly
complex markets.
· Analyzes the demand side for a
commodity by completing spend histories and
demand forecast, identifying current suppliers,
determining procurement involvement,
historical contract compliance, and demand
segmentation.
· Works collaboratively with the
Global Council Director and peers to prioritize
opportunities and allocate resources for the
Council.
· Secures resources, funding and
establishes initiative tracking and reporting.
· Responsible for supplier relationship
management with major global commodity
suppliers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: UALIFICATIONS
B.A.-B.S., or relevant experience
Purchasing experience
5-8 years automotive purchasing experience.
Must have 1 or more of the following commodities: powdered metal, machined components, aluminum die castings, hydraulic components
Strong Negotiation, Project Management, and Problem Solving Skills
Experienced in working with cross-functional teams.
Excellent PC skills.
