Coordinator, Purchasing

The University of Central Florida is a metropolitan research university with an enrollment of 45,000. Established in 1963, undergraduate and graduate academic programs are delivered through 10 colleges. Located in Orlando, Florida, the University enjoys a rich heritage of cultural, educational, industrial, and recreational activities.

The university is currently seeking a Coordinator, Purchasing. This A&P position is located in our Purchasing department.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.

Preferences: Purchasing Coordinator will perform all aspects of purchasing: process requisitions into purchase orders and contracts via PeopleSoft Financials System. Experience developing, soliciting and awarding ITB and RFP's and administer contracts is desired. Selected candidate will be buying facility maintenance, repair and operations supplies and equipment, and purchasing in a public environment using the PeopleSoft Financials System. Purchasing professional certification is preferred.
