Circuit Card Assembly Buyer

Primary objective: To plan and execute complete procurement and/or production plans.
|||Buying; buy components and commodities for production. --analyze requirements. --work with supplier to plan suppliers capacity. --place purchase requisitions. --negotiate price, terms, and conditions. --status orders. --visit suppliers. --establish material procurement and/or production plans requiring judgment on more complex matters. --support the development of long term strategies in the major areas of accountability. --independently execute plans with significant business impact. --made decisions which have a broad and long-term impact on major areas of accountability.
||| New program support: --interface with other functional groups and suppliers to provide new program support.
||| Leadership: Manage inventory levels. --participate in lead-time reduction. --review surplus.
|||Special Projects; complete special projects as assigned. --participate in continuous improvement and lean activities. --participate in cost-reduction activities. --work on multi-functional teams.
|||Strategic planning; participate in strategic planning. --formulate strategic planning. --understand strategic initiatives.
|||Government familiarity. --Maintain familiarity and ensure compliance with government, industry, and import/export regulations as required.
|||Market Knowledge. --Study market trends.


Requirements:

Bachelors degree in business or related field || 4 years of purchasing experience || CCA, PWB or PCB experience
