Buyer Supervisor

The continued evolution of our dynamic organization has created an exciting opportunity for an energetic, results-driven Buyer Supervisor to work in our corporate purchasing department in Vernon Hills, IL.

Responsibilities include:

*Supervise our team of buyers as we insure the highest service levels in the industry.
*Managing, analyzing, and maintaining DRP, multi-location, inventory system.
*Monitoring performance of vendors to ensure service levels and Inventory Turn goals are obtained.
*Interface with sales, customer service, marketing, warehouse and accounting.


Qualifications include:

*MUST HAVE DISTRIBUTION PURCHASING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Supervisory experience in a purchasing department
*4-6 years experience in a high-volume distribution environment
*Attention to detail and good analytical skills
*Professional demeanor, excellent written and oral communication skills
*Excellent Excel skills, SAP a plus
*High energy, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
