Buyer/Planner

ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is presently searching for a Buyer Planner.

ACCO Brands Corporation is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner who will be responsible for the replenishment of 250-300 purchased finished goods and the tactical deployment of inventory to support the business, ensuring a high customer service level while optimizing inventory and minimizing obsolete and slow moving inventory.

Job duties include:

Maintain uninterrupted supply and inventory of finished goods to meet operating plan objectives (inventory turns, service level, safety stock target levels, and cost goals).

Create purchase orders, supplier requirement forecasts, and supplier pre-build strategy for purchased finished goods to meet customer orders

Analyze and make recommendations for minimum and incremental DRP quantities and DRP coverage and maintain system parameters.

Coordinate timing of product availability with customer orders and safety stock replenishment.

Maintain timely communications with Customer Service regarding inventory availability.

Coordinate effective shipping of purchased finished goods.

Accountable for maintaining supply planning parameters and purchase order integrity to ensure system integrity.

Effective communication with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Demand Management, etc.

Create reports in Oracle and Manugistics and export to Excel

REQUIREMENTS
Education:

BA/BS degree in business related field preferred.
CPIM certification a plus

Experience:
2 or more years of experience in the following areas:
Purchasing finished goods internationally
Purchasing finished goods with volatile demand
Inventory management
Manugistics
Oracle

Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
