Midwest Filtration Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, high energy individual as our Buyer. Midwest Filtration Company is located in northern Cincinnati and is a leader in supplying the Air and Liquid filtration industry with converted and custom products.

We are seeking an individual with 2-5 years experience in the Purchasing function and experience using an ERP system. This position will be responsible for:

•Evaluating material requirements and procuring necessary materials
•Generate, place, and track purchase orders
•Build relationships with vendors
•Minimize inventory levels without sacrificing customer deliveries
•Identify, implement and adhere to all appropriate internal controls
•Identify appropriate inventory levels for each product and maintain those levels
•Resolve obsolete inventory issues
•Assist in Development of any ISO related procedures/work instructions for purchasing function
•Other duties as assigned by Materials Manager
