Headquartered in San Jose, California, Sanmina-SCI is a leading EMS provider focused on delivering complete end-to-end manufacturing capabilities and highly complex solutions to technology companies around the world.Responsible for the procurement of MRO supplies for Facilities/Maintenance Departments, Equipment OEM spare parts, facilities services/contractors, equipment services, safety/PPE and other production and/or office supplies at the optimum price, quality and service. Authorizes purchase Orders with the established guidelines and expedites deliveries with suppliers. Monitors supplier performance and recommends and facilitates corrective action for recurring quality.

Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternate sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria.Job Requirements
