Business Process Manager - Retail Systems

Amazon.com is seeking a talented analyst/project manager for a Buying Process Manager position on the Hardlines Vendor Management Team. This person will be responsible for driving enhancements in our retail and supply chain systems in support of the retail business teams; establishing and reinforcing best practices and standardization in the merchandising processes; participating as a key influencer in the development of both buyer and vendor facing tools; performing analysis and testing of new system functionality; creating, preparing, and analyzing financial, operational, and inventory models; analyzing the short and long term impact of sourcing initiatives; maturing reporting/metrics standards; working with vendors to ensure operational compliance; and working on special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required. Skills required:Intermediate MS Excel and Access skillsExperience with SQL and Visual Basic is a plusMinimum of 3-5 years work experience requiredBachelor's degree is required.
