We now seek a Purchasing Agent to oversee the performance of our Purchasing Dept. You'll negotiate best prices and delivery schedules, prepare POs, and approve invoices for payment. Requires experience in an MRP environment plus a background in purchasing materials across a broad spectrum of commodities; a four year degree in Business administration with 3-5 years progressive purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and report-writing skills are also a must, as is the ability to interpret blueprints.
