Upstream PM Product Specialist
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: MarketingResponsibilities: Own specific programs and projects within the overall PM product platform.*
Help drive the strategic Marketing plan for PM.
Support Global Upstream Marketing Manager with overall program deliverables to execute timely delivery of programs with engineering.
Help provide business direction for the PM product line including supporting the product roadmaps.
Needs analysis, pricing and product positioning*
Help develop business case analysis for new programs, including detailed financial analysis.
Help develop Product Program Proposals for new functionality in product platform.
Help with providing a solid marketing message, sales tools, collateral, and product presentations and provide support at product trade shows.
Participate in User Group meetings and maintain a deep knowledge of current development in industry, clinical and government trends for PM*

This position will contribute greatly to the success of the IITS business by helping to deliver new products and features to the EMR market. A successful candidate will be able to deliver on tactical items as well as help in the formation of strategic positioning. This person will help in program management and commercial preparation of new products.This person will report to the Global Upstream Marketing Manager and will be a key part of the overall development team for EMR.Key attributes include excellent communication skills, team player, excellent execution.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * BA in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience * 3-5 years working in an IT market for database applications (prefer Medical Software)* 3-5 years product management (product development rather than commercial marketing) experience * Knowledge of the PM market preferred but not required * Proven track record * Ability to be creative and think out of the box * Proven leadership in a matrix organization * Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired: Experience in Developing Business case analysis with financial detail*
