Security - Dispatcher

This includes, but not limited to:RESPONSIBILITIES (Major Duties)Interacting with a variety of persons including: clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public
Enforcing client and company policies and procedures
Badge Compliance
Property Movement Compliance
Respond, compile and report all information in regards to theft, alarms, accidents and other incidents that may occur
Observe and report all unusual activity
Report all building utility/ service issues as observed and instructed to facilities
Notify, assist and direct emergency personnel as necessary
Security access of authorized personnel into building including visitors and their employee sponsors, client employees and/or contractors
Dispatch patrol to allow access to authorized personnel for secured areas
Dispatch patrol to check and/ or secure access areas into and onto client's premises, as well as, highly sensitive locations within the buildings
Monitor the movements and locations of all account security personnel in order to expedite service requests, emergency responses and to ensure employee safety
Operate telephone and radio equipment
Prepare all required written reports, including but not limited to: Daily Activity Reports (DARs), Incident Reports and all required logsResponsible for the proper operation and monitoring of all life safety, gas storage, access control and loss prevention systems and related sub-systems
Respond to system alarms and notifies the appropriate response resources as directed by procedure
Responsible for the proper operation and monitoring of all security telephone, paging , radio and intercom communication systems
Maintains and operates video tapes and equipmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (To perform job duties)Must have sufficient hearing to respond to normal verbal speech, alarm signals, radio and telephone communications
Must have sufficient visual acuity to read and understand tenant rosters, employee listings, post orders, maps, computer screens, check identification (such as company badge and drivers license) and to distinguish the faces of employees, contractors and visitors
Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to 90% of an 8-12 hour shift (there may be times when an officer is required to work up to 12 hours straight to meet the operational needs of the Company)
Must have a command of the English language that is easily understoodSKILL REQUIREMENTS (To perform job duties)Excellent verbal and written communications

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum 7 years continuous residency in the U.S.
Must have clean credit history, cannot contain any of the following:
Civil judgments: Multiple
Collections: Multiple
Liens: Any (tax lien by a government agency or court (liens which are assessments for municipal services are excluded))
Repossessions: Any involuntary (e.g. vehicle repossession)
Trades: Multiple (e.g. open accounts over 90 days late, within the last six months)
Write-offs/charge-offs: Multiple
Provide information employment verification for previous 7 years
