SMT SETTER

Purpose: Located in Carson, CA, this Corporation provides contract manufacturing (CM) services to multiple industries including: aerospace, defense, surveillance, automotive, pro-audio, medical and industrial controls.

SMT Setter-Operator

Objective

Set-up and Operate all SMT equipment tools and machines.

Responsibilities
Operate solder paste, reflow, and SMT pick/place machines.
Set-up SMT component feeders and trays for SMT pick/place machines.
Set-up solder paste machines for stenciling printed circuit boards.
Set-up reflow oven for soldering printed circuit board assemblies.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Two to five years experience as an SMT machine operator in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated skills with SMT assembly processes.
Demonstrated skills in reading engineering bill of materials and drawings.
Demonstrated success in working in a team-based environment.
Demonstrated PC skills using Microsoft Office and other SMT machine operating systems.

Desired Requirements:
Experience in all aspects of SMT circuit board assembly processes.
Experience in handling SMT components and tools for assembly.
Experience in reading engineering documentation for use in assembly
