Skills include clinical assessment, screening for nutritional risk, developing, implementing, and monitoring a nutrition care plan, education, and follow-up. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Experience/Specialized Skills:
1 - 2 years experience in an acute care, subacute, or skilled nursing setting preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills. Knowledge/experience in compliance of JCAHO Standards, Title XXII, other applicable regulatory requirements.Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
Baccalaureate Degree in Food and Nutrition Services/Nutrition Science. Completion of a dietetic internship or other training program which has been approved by the American Dietetic Association.Required Certification/Registration:
Registered Dietitian through the Commission of Dietetic Registration, Member of American Dietetic Association.
