Project Manager

The project manager is a liaison between the sales reps, vendors, clients and occasionally the end user as it relates to orders placed with company.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A blend between customer service and project management, a client services representative manages the accounts of 1 or more company sales representatives. Primary responsibilities include making sure all sales orders are properly written, correctly entered into the system and properly processed.


Properly processing an order includes obtaining shipping quotes, billing and collecting payments from client, creating time schedules for production to meet deadlines, problem solving, authorizing the release of product and ensuring final delivery & client satisfaction.


It is also the responsibility of the PM to resolve any issues
that arise at any point during the process above in addition to handling warranty and freight damage claims.


The position requires daily interaction with clients, vendors, shipping companies, product managers and end users. Project Manager plays an integral role in repeat business for the company.
REQUIREMENTS


Education and/or Experience

Prior experience in project management or experience in the Home Furnishings /Design Industry. College degree preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are critical. Accounting experience a plus.
