Job Responsibilities: Product Specialist
Experienced Sales Professional must be well versed in the art of complex selling by utilizing proven solution/consultative selling methodologies and skill sets. Sales Professional must be extremely proficient in prospecting and relationship building throughout client organizations to include all C-level executives. Sales professional must be an assertive over-achiever with strong communication skills, a consistent track record of increased sales, quota over-attainment and an industry reputation for competence, professionalism and above all, integrity. Specific responsibilities include:
Overlay sales resource to direct sales account managers, providing expertise on managed and collocation hosting services, contact center products, security, business-continuity and various IP-related professional services
Directly responsible for understanding customers’ business requirements within these disciplines, preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and communicating funnel status and sales issues to Qwest team
Orchestrate the necessary resources to deliver appropriate solutions to customers, who include: sales, administrative, operational, technical, and legal talent
Accountable for attaining established revenue targets, revenue generation and account planning/positioning, while developing and maintaining customer relationships
Responsible for participating in predefined training curriculum. Identifying individual and team performance objectives in concert with the Qwest Internet Services Business Markets Group Sales Manager
Develop complete account plans, strategies for penetrating new Qwest Business Markets Group account client base, and funnel management
Enhance teaming environment with traditional Account Management and with Technical Support organization to achieve end to end customer commitments

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Experienced Sales Professional with 5-10 years of consistent sales performance 5-10 years sales experience in Contact/Call Center solutions 5-10 years experience in enterprise network security and datacenter sales, professional services and/or systems integration to Fortune 500 and 1000 companies Proficient in MS Word and Excel and able to direct the generation and completion of sales proposals Strong communication skills (oral and written) Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation requiredPreferred Job Qualifications: Direct or overlay sales experience preferred. Understanding of the business drivers related to network-based solutions and services Established list of key contacts or accounts one could immediately utilize to gain first appointments Graduate degree preferredWork Environment: Ability to lead and direct sales support teams through multiple complex sale cycles Must be adept at managing conflicting priorities within a dynamic market and day-to-day schedulesTake the next step to a great career with Qwest!
