Principal Scientist in Internet Security and Privacy with a strong and proven background in leading and conducting security research. In addition to conducting leading edge research she/he is expected to contribute to the
creation of research visions and strategies for Internet Security and Privacy areas and champion new significant research topics.Scope
Individual Contributor: Independently carrying out consulting, specific functional work within a Business Unit/Geography. Assumes broad perspective. Resolves unique and highly complex problems within own discipline. Makes decisions about own and/or project work using known solutions as basis. Managerial/Supervisory: Effective management of resources and development/implementation of plans and processes. Interprets policies and establishes procedures. Increased awareness and influence of other functions outside of own business area. Very strong background in academic and applied industrial research in the area of Internet Security and Pricvacy is needed. World-class broad expertise is expected at least on one of the following areas, and good knowledge on another one is an asset: network security; cryptology; applications security; system security; Internet privacy;
Proven track record of bringing research results into reality needed. At least 8-10 years of research experience beyond Ph.D. degree in Security/Privacy area and 2-4 years of work experience in leading research in Security technologies. Good publication and patent track record - well-known expert in academic and/or industry tracks. PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.Environment
