EH&S Specialist/Technician

Purpose: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist/Technician


One of the nations top Manufacturing and Engineering firms seeks a qualified Health and Safety Professional to handle all environmental issues for our west coast plant. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience with environmental compliance and health and safety issues.

The main responsibilities of our Health and Safety Specialist will be:

* Contributing to annual, quarterly, and monthly reports

* Making sure that firm is running in accordance with all regulations

* Dealing with various regulatory agencies

* Maintaining MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)

* Maintenance of the sites water treatment and gas systems

* Conducting quarterly meetings with various staff to make sure that all
team members understand the policies that have been put in place.


The ideal candidate will have a degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Health and Safety or a related degree. This individual will also have 2-5 years of experience of with environmental compliance and health and safety (preferably in a manufacturing environment). This individual should be familiar with environmental regulations and compliance issues that encompass a manufacturing firm.
