Collections – A San Clemente headquartered highway safety products company with $37 million in Sales and 150 employees, has an immediate opening in our accounting department for someone with a minimum of 5-years Collection Specialist experience.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is detailed, organized and goal oriented. Must have good verbal & written communication skills; be computer literate; have AR & Billing experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Collections, Promissory Note & Personal Guarantee Allocations; and Reconciliations.
Analyze Existing and Potential Customers to determine the appropriate Payment Terms and Line of Credit.
Maintain a Customer Database.
Enter & Distribute daily Invoices.
Complete Account Resolution on any and all past due invoices, credit memos, payments, price discrepancies and product returns.
Develop and Utilize collection techniques, including telephone calls & letters.
Interact with Sales Department in Reconciling Accounts and determining credit line needs for all customers.
Partner with Corporate Attorney on demand letters, bankruptcy, judgments and payment schedule agreements.
Compile & Evaluate data for monthly reporting to President/Owner, Controller, & VP of Marketing & Sales.
Reply for Requests for Credit Information on Customers.
Print, Review and Mail monthly statements.
Develop and maintain monthly spreadsheet summarizing all Credit Memos.
