The 47-bed Novato Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, general acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Serving its community since 1961, the hospital affiliated with Sutter Health in 1985. Novato Community Hospital works in close partnership with Marin General Hospital to provide for the healthcare needs of more than 64,000 North Marin County residents. Novato Community Hospital recently opened a $40 million replacement hospital and a medical office building on the Novato Medical Campus.The largest acute care hospital in Marin County with 235 licensed beds, Marin General Hospital works in close partnership with Novato Community Hospital to provide for the health care needs of 175,000 residents of Marin County. Primary and secondary levels of care include a basic emergency department, neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, a family birthing center, home care, adult psychiatric units and a cardiac catheterization laboratory. The Marin Cancer Institute, Marin Heart Institute and a Shared Care Unit, which provides family-centered care for patients with cancer, diabetes, or AIDS, offer extended health care services to the community.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors' degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Institutional Management required; registration with the American Dietetic Association required; clinical experience in an acute care hospital strongly preferred.
