Small firms offered Bigsave Net help

Virtual shopping mall, Bigsave.com, has launched a recruitment drive to find small companies that can't afford to get online alone.
For a 'small but undisclosed' fee, firms can obtain a 'virtual plot' at Bigsave.com, in return for Web consultancy. Bigsave said it aims to help firms through the process of building an online store and converting their stock administration for the Web.
Bigsave marketing director, Peter Bailey, claimed the site will become a bastion of fair pricing, redressing overpricing suffered by many consumers across Europe. He said: "We believe things shouldn't cost as much as they do: we're going to make a lot of enemies among conventional retailers."
However, Bailey admitted that small retailers won't be able to compete with many large online sellers.
