As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for managing the overall operation and budget for the A&P account, located in New Jersey with a total sales responsibility of $8,000,000. You will be responsible for the full scope of product sales, distribution and promotion to major retail customer. This will include:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementing strategies by growing the business and expanding market shares
Meeting sales and brand objectives
Account and brand forecasting
Identifying opportunities
Delivering effective presentations
Gaining a thorough knowledge of customer's business and operating procedures
Building account relationships beyond the buying level to ensure the involvement of key decision makers
Ensuring optimum levels of customer service
Maintaining account records, handle promotional claims and deductions
Coordinating all cross-functional aspects of the business P&L
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years consumer packaged goods/OTC field sales experience w/ proven track record
Working knowledge or previous experience with IRI or Nielsen systems and reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility, in regards to overnight travel
MUST be willing to relocate for promotional opportunities
Valid driver's license
