Research Associate

Purpose: Top pharmaceutical company in New York City seeking a Research Associate to assist their Outcomes Research Department.



Responsibilities:

-Assist Outcomes Research professional staff on projects to support marketed products
-Contact vendors/contractors to request proposals or follow-up on projects as directed
-Track project budgets
-Conduct literature searches and compile manuscripts (hardcopy or electronic form) for review
-Review and comment on published literature as needed/requested/appropriate
-Schedule meetings as directed and record key items and action items with follow-up on action items at regular intervals and reporting as to the status of them
-Assist in developing and tracking time lines for projects
-Create spreadsheets/presentations/briefing materials as directed
-Assist product manager in coordinating across teams (DMTs and within OR)
-Assist product managers as otherwise directed with respect to product projects, DMT projects and US OR projects
-Review QoL/PRO instruments as directed and assist in developing new instruments and analyses plans.


Minimum Requirements:

Graduate degree in epidemiology, economics or health services research.

Special issues:

Some travel may be necessary to support research projects and product teams.

**Clinical Trials Experience is Preferred**
