Due to our tremendous growth, we are currently hiring at various locations. We have 32 medical sites located throughout the Greater Los Angeles, Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley, South Bay, Long Beach, and San Fernando Valley area.
Responsible for providing professional nursing care; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients; supervises and delegates tasks as needed to professional and para-professional personnel. The Registered Nurse coordinates activities for the successful operations of the department and maintains efficient department functions working closely with providers and staff.

Performs simple to moderately complex Nursing procedures within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
Performs a comprehensive patient assessment.
Obtains, interprets, records and reports vital signs, (temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure) height, weight and other pertinent patient information to the provider.
Prepares patients for examinations and other procedures.
Develops an appropriate nursing care plan.
Implements a plan of care by performing nursing interventions and assisting with procedures.
Instructs patients on procedural preparation.
Performs various patient tests and procedures within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Administers medications and other therapeutic modalities within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.
Collects, labels and transports various specimens to appropriate destination.
Performs patient and family teaching.
Maintains clinical standards outlined in the clinical operations policy and procedure manual; identifies deficiencies and makes recommendations for change.
Documents and maintains records of medical and nursing procedures.
Coordinates with providers and ancillary departments to plan daily work assignments according to staff abilities, patient schedules, patient flow, provider schedules and procedures.
Ensures adequate levels of supplies are maintained.
Ensures that all equipment is maintained.
Performs telephone screening and advice under the direction of a provider.
Directs patients to appropriate level of care and authorizes outside services.
Notifies pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorizations of refills as ordered by the provider.
Participates in educational programs to enhance nursing knowledge.
Additional leadership duties above basic nursing duties. E.g.; educator, telephone advice or specialty experience or certifications, (OR, OB, GI, ER, CEN, CCRN).
Assume the charge nurse role.
Adheres to Universal Precautions at all times.
Adheres to safety policies and procedures at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Current California RN licensure.
Over 3 years and up to and including 5 years of experience.
One or two years of post-high school education or degree from a two-year college.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
Additional certifications where appropriate of ACLS, PALS.
