The Research Data Coordinator has overall responsibility for the management of data management processes required to lock study database used in Abbott clinical database systems and processes. Specifically, this person coordinates project personnel involved in all Data Management activities/objectives within a study and is responsible for CRF process flow and query resolution between Abbott and investigational sites. The Research Data Coordinator acts as liaison with all study team members and other functional groups on all levels, domestic and international, on technical requirements for database development and data quality within a study. This person is also responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of data management requirements within a study.Qualifications
We require excellent communication skills for interacting with medical departments, parent company worldwide counterparts and outside support organizations and the ability to manage teams to bring solutions to non-technical database users. This person must have a thorough understanding of the drug development process as it relates to the technical environment. **Oracle Clinical Experience Required**
B.S. in a Nursing or Life Science degree (i.e. Biology) with 3 years experience using Data Management packages in a pharmaceutical drug development department. Some experience in Clinical Database Administration is preferred.
