QC Chemist I

Responsibilities: Kforce is currently recruiting for a Chemist to work with a major pharmaceutical company in the Irvine area. Principle responsibilities include all of the following: Maintain knowledge and understanding of laboratory policies and GMPs. Perform testing, both wet chemical analysis and instrumental methods, according to SOPs, testing protocols, or compendia (USP, BP or EP). Document all work according to GMPs and SOPs, review analysts notebooks. Calibrate instruments as required. Assure instruments are properly tagged. Dispose of all samples and laboratory wastes properly. Perform preparation and labeling of all laboratory reagents, reference standards and solutions properly.
