Pharmacy Clinical Manager

The Clinical Pharmacy Manager will champion the principles of pharmaceutical care in drug therapy management by being responsible for the following:-Ensuring strict compliance with professional policies and procedures.-Participate in the selection and hiring of pharmacists.-Mentoring of pharmacists to increase their clinical effectiveness and counseling skills.-Provide clinical/drug information to healthcare professionals.-Deliver clinical education programs.-Assist with the development, use, analysis and feedback of clinical performance measurment indicators, processes, and audits.-Acting as a staff pharmacist when deemed necessary by the Director of Pharmacy.-Other duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD.from an accredited college of Pharmacy required. Completion of an ASHP accredited residency is preferred but not required.Experience: Two to Three years of pharmacy experience preferred but not required.Licensure: Current MO. Pharmcy license or ability to acquire MO. licensure within 90 days.
