PHARMACIST Staff

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is accountable for the provision of optimum levels of pharmaceutical services to patients and other health care providers.
DIMENSIONS:
Involved in the dispensing of over 2,600,000 medication orders per year resulting in approximate annual revenue of $31,000,000.Involved in monitoring of medication and associated therapy for over 26,000 inpatients and 6,000 outpatients annually.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree Pharmacy (5 years) is required.
Licensure:
As a Registered Pharmacist in Ohio or eligibility therefore.Skills:
Ability to utilize professional knowledge as a direct asset topatient care and assistance of medical and paramedical
personnel.Ability to effectively communicate withpatients and other health care professionals.Experience:
One to two years prior related experience desired butnot required.
