PHARMACIST, PRN

GLADES GENERAL HOSPITAL IS LOOKING FOR A PHARMACIST

The Clinical Pharmacist supervises technical support; participates in pharmacy communication; cost-effective therapy recommendations; culture and sensitivity review and recommendations; Pharmacy dosing and dosing adjustment recommendations; departmental policies and procedures; establish measurable goals; employee development; maintain departmental records; participate on committees as in assigned such as Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee; and communicate and enforce hospital policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS

Requires minimum 2 years hospital experience in hospital pharmacy. Must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy, Registered in the State of Florida by the Board of Pharmacy. Interacts with all departments-clinical and non-clinical and with hospital administration. Responsible for meeting Pharmacy Department operations and capital budgets. Management of allocated resources in the department including equipment, drugs and supplies, and drug information sources. Supervises Pharmacy Technicians, Clerks and Pharmacy Interns. Must be able to work largely independently and with administrative supervision and communications.
