Health & Safety Director

Marshall Miller and Associates, Inc. (MM&A), an employee-owned ENR Top 500 Design Firm, is seeking the following position.

Health & Safety Director
Establish, direct, and maintain Safety initiatives to achieve regulatory compliance, assuring offices and job sites adherence to sound principles of risk management and prevention of workplace injuries and illness.
Develop program policies, procedures, and objectives for accomplishment of the Health and Safety Program.
Establish and monitor measurement systems that advise management on program costs and effectiveness, achievement of goals, and degree of compliance.
Oversee development and implementation of training programs. Manage accident investigation/reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for Health & Safety Director
Preferred candidate will have a BS degree and a minimum of 5-7 years experience in Safety with a working knowledge of the Environmental area.
Candidate will have experience with OSHA, MSHA, and Workers’ Compensation and Loss Control.
Must have ability to work independently and initiative to create and maintain meaningful, focused safety programs and process. Willing to travel to branch offices and field job sites.

Location of position is flexible.
