Medpace, Inc. is actively seeking a Director, Pharmacokinetics and Scientific Affairs for their new confined (Phase I, IIa) Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU). This individual will provide scientific leadership in designing studies and planning methods of analysis for clients’ clinical studies. The responsibilities will include the interpretation of the results of all clinical pharmacology studies, Phase I and non-routine pharmacokinetic studies and approval of the protocols and reports; critical evaluation and approval of the study designs; results interpretation and reports for all routine pharmacokinetics protocols; discussion with clients and with regulatory bodies (FDA) of the results of these studies and their interpretation; and suggesting new marketing strategies based on the application of scientific know-to client scientific or regulatory compliance issues.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have a Ph.D. in clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics or an equivalent field with experience in phase I, bioequivalence, biostatistics, and pharmacokinetics studies. They will need to be skilled at scientific writing and communications, client relations, research design, statistical analysis and analysis, and possess knowledge of FDA requirements for clinical studies.
