Our Life Sciences Consulting Practice serves nearly all of the world's largest and most prestigious pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. We offer solutions to help clients address a wide range of issues affecting business growth for both established as well as early stage and emerging life sciences companies. From inception to initial public offering or global product launch, our professionals have comprehensive experience in: customer channel strategy, merger and acquisitions, managed markets, clinical trials, supply chain optimization, investment prioritization, commercialization strategy, financial and performance management, regulatory compliance, R&D process optimization, operations excellence and more.Directors contribute to the growth our Life Sciences practice by performing in the following ways:Engagement Management: managing engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defines deliverable content, ensures buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
Business Development: develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizes and leads pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process, contributes to proposal pricing strategy.
Practice Development: development of solutions and methodologies, development of “thoughtware” and “point-of-view” documents, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.
People Development: performs role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.Our LifeSciences practice has a broad scope of service to help our clients address a full range of management issues including customer relationship management; merger and acquisitions; financial and performance management; process development and reengineering across a broad range of functional components of a client organization; supply chain optimization, information technology strategy, managed markets, regulatory compliance and more.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Advanced degrees, MB.A. or related, out of strong academic institutions are strongly preferred.Essential Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a degree in business or related and have 10 or more years of consulting or pharmaceutical, biotech or the medical device industry. Advanced degrees, MBA or related, out of strong academic institutions are strongly preferred. Qualified candidates will have a broad exposure to strategy and operations improvement project participation and management in a number of functional areas of corporations and start-up companies. Solid analytical skills are required. Candidates must have solid track record of success in overseeing high performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
