DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY
The Director is the Pharmacist of record with the Board of Professional Regulation (BPR), Board of Pharmacy for state of Florida. This includes but is not limited to all professional and technical aspects of departmental operations, including IV admixture program, medication & delivery of system to ensure safe, progressive, state-of-the-art operations. Skilled with both geriatrics & pediatrics. Is responsible for meeting JCAHO and other regulatory agencies requirements/ standards, complying with corporate policy and procedures. Responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the Department. Functions in cooperation with the leadership team in developing plans, policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively meet the objective of providing quality care.
Qualified candidate must have BS in Pharmacy. Master’s degree or Pharm.D. preferred. Pharmacy Internship or Residency in hospital pharmacy, Florida Pharmacist License, Consultant Pharmacist License required. Five years’ experience in responsible growth oriented management position in healthcare facility.
