Clinical Pharmacist

Purpose: Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include authoring new patient education monographs based on professional labeling, secondary literature, and on occasion primary literature sources. A well-developed editorial policy and procedure guides the process, though good clinical judgment skills are required in order to correctly interpret and consumerize the professional information.

Monitoring of key information sources, such as the FDA Medwatch website, and Health Canada website enables the Group to continuously update existing monographs. Duties also include researching customer-based clinical inquiries regarding monograph content. The requirement to work in close cooperation with Group pharmacy technicians/Research Associates, translators and copyeditors regarding monograph content requires an effective, team-oriented individual.
