Chemistry Lab Technician I

We have several IMMEDIATE opportunities for Chemistry Laboratory Technicians with a biotech/biomed company located in the city of Irvine!!

Scope/Purpose of Position:
The Chem Lab Technician I reports to the QC Laboratory Services Group Manager and supports the QA/QC Personnel.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform QA testing on all company products as required, according to applicable guidelines.

Organize and file raw data of tests performed.

Perform calibration and/or preventive maintenance procedures on all applicable equipment and calibration devices.

Analyze the appropriate samples for the release testing of raw, in-process and finished materials.

Perform validation testing to support the release of raw materials, in-process material and finished product.

Execute protocols for validation of new equipment and products.

Maintain the laboratory working areas in a clean and organized state.

Experience:

AA or BS in Chemistry or related field.

Must have at least 2 years of college experience with technical courses in general chemistry and mathematics. Exposure to laboratory courses, such as inorganic and analytical chemistry, is highly recommended.

Experience in Quality Assurance (QA/QC), preferably manufacturing.

Working knowledge of QA/QC principles and GMP/GLP/ISO guidelines.

One year of industrial experience in laboratory practices is helpful.
