Chemist III

Purpose: This company is a local pharmaceutical company. This company is currently looking for a Chemist III, Research.

Candidate will be developing analytical methods by using multiple techniques (ie developing methods with HPLC). Candidate will lead multiple reformulation research studies, which includes selecting techniques and methodologies and providing direction to less experienced staff in conducting multiple analytical chemistry studies. Candidate will also assist in the training of new hires in pre-approval inspections and technology transfer. Candidate will also implement new techniques and update SOP's in accordance with new guidelines. Candidate will also write and review protocols and reports. Candidate will review findings and results of projects to resolve problems.

Candidate must have experience in a pharmaceutical company. Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience. Candidate should also have strong analytical chemistry with a solid foundation of instrumentation experience. Candidate should also have experience with method development and method validation. Small molecule experience is preferred.
