Primarily work in the patient care areas. Must be competent in reviewing and evaluation of medication orders for appropriate pharmacotherapy in the following age groups of patients: Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric. Demonstrate the ability to communicate with nursing staff to resolve and prevent drug related problems in both distribution and administration of drugs.

CLINICAL PHARMACIST/ PHARMACY - INPATIENT/(40HRS PER WEEK/ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / M-F, some eve. & W/E rotation)
REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Fully licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Georgia or eligible for full licensure within 120 days through reciprocity or exam. Doctor of Pharmacy degree + 1 year post-Pharm.D. ASHP accredited Residency in pharmacy practice, or Doctor of Pharmacy degree + > 5 years of post-Pharm.D. experience in job-related pharmacy practice, or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy + > 6 years experience in job-related pharmacy practice at GHS.
