Analytical Chemists (R&D) needed!

A pharmaceutical company in Irvine, specializing in the generics market, has great opportunities for Chemists for their Research and Development Department!!

Position Summary:
To provide analytical support to Research and Development (R&D) projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct chemical analysis of pharmaceutical preparations including raw material testing, formulation development, method development and validation, stability evaluation, and cleaning verification/validation.

Activities may include buffer and solution preparation, standard preparation, and operating analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometer).

Provide detailed and accurate record keeping of all experimental results, with strict adherence to SOP's and cGMP's.

Provide general laboratory support such as medium preparation; routine instrument cleaning, preventative maintenance, and calibration; sample receiving; chemical inventory; document filing and housekeeping.

Follow all applicable safety and standard guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

BS in Chemistry or related field

1-4+ years of related industry experience in an FDA regulated, GMP environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills
