Account Manager - Pharma
Epsilon is always looking for talented and motivated individuals who share our commitment to delivering ground breaking relationship management marketing solutions and first-class customer service in a dynamic environment. We are currently looking for an accomplished Relationship Marketing Account Manager to act as the primary client, agency and vendor liaison for one or more of our clients’ brands.
This person, who will be located in Wakefield, MA with frequent travel to Manhattan (40-60%), will provide relationship marketing operations support and consultation services to one of our major pharmaceutical clients. We will also consider candidates who live in the NYC area and are able to travel to Epsilon Corporate Headquarters on a regular basis.
The Account Manager must employ proven multi-channel project management skills and client service experience. They will deploy marketing initiatives through the use of effective analysis and leadership of daily operational processes and leverage working relationships across the client’s brand team, online/offline advertising agencies and a network of operations database and program delivery vendors.
Essential Daily Duties:
*Manage and facilitate cross functional multi-channel project management that includes email delivery, print and mail production, web development and postal requirements.
*With input from agencies and operations partners, develop/review/approve schedules and assignments for multi-channel marketing output.
*Proactively manage/consult cross-team activities, make actionable recommendations to improve marketing production activities and work with constituents (client and external vendors) to maintain delivery schedule.
*Communicate and lead operations vendors to execute multi-channel marketing programs.
*In conjunction with agencies and operational partners, provide quality control for programs and all marketing efforts.
*Work with band team, agencies and operations partners to develop correct program specifications.
*Resolve vendor issues/process defects and seek clarification from brand, agencies and operational partners.
*Review ongoing reports for delivery abnormalities and recognize potential issues in their early stages.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience:
*The ability to balance needs of multiple constituents to ensure program delivery and quality control to meet the organizational needs.
*Superior organizational and interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication abilities in order to work with a broad array of client, agency and vendor contacts.
*Excellent client service and problem-solving skills in order to minimize problem escalation to senior team members and ability to provide recommendations for resolution.
*Demonstrated successful experience with file segmentation, direct mail production, email delivery and program troubleshooting.
*Ability to manage multiple operational partners and programs and understand vendor management.
Qualifications:
*5-7 years experience in a direct marketing agency or direct marketing driven business
*Experience working with multiple vendors on complex, multi-channel programs such as IVR providers, call center providers, fulfillment vendors, email service providers, multiple agencies and data/technology providers.
*Strategic marketing understanding including knowledge of integrated marketing programs.
*Experience overseeing complex initiatives from inception to completion
*Experience in program planning, project management/execution and analytics
*Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
*Willingness to dive in with hands-on work while driving initiatives.
*Disciplined organizational skills in all aspects of job performance.
*Strong multi-tasking abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
*Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
*BA or BS required.
