General Maintenance Mechanic A (Multicraft) Rheem Water Heaters has an immediate opening for an experienced Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic at our Montgomery, Alabama manufacturing facility. This position requires a diversified, self-motivated and skilled technician, with a minimum of 3 or more years manufacturing maintenance work experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Applicants with an AAS degree in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Electronics Technology are preferred. Position requires a strong mechanical background, with proficiency in industrial electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills. Work experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and basic plumbing functions is required. Applicants meeting the qualifications cited above, are required to successfully complete a written and skills demonstration assessment, as part of the application process.
