We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the exciting new position of Central Verification Specialist within our new Emerging Markets group in Pomona. As this is a new position and initiative at HSBC, the ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial zeal and a demonstrated track record in verification of customer credit loan application information. The most qualified candidate will have the ability to review customer provided information and make phone calls to verify the accuracy of the information provided. Prior experience in a collections or similar field where verifying information provided by customers in an application format and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone are essential. A sense of urgency in processing information is required as this position supports a SALES environment. Qualified candidates will be fluent in Spanish and have a strong understanding of the Hispanic community and culture.As part of our verification team, you will verify information provided by our customers such as address, place of employment, phone numbers, as well as other information provided on an on line application. Responsibilities include achieving your goals through rapid and accurate verification of information. Assisting the CVU Manager with documentation, reporting, and audit as requested.
