Facility Type: InpatientPosition Schedule: Full TimeJob Description:HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbia, SC is seeking a Rehab Nurse Tech. This facility is a 96 bed rehab hospital located in the capital city of South Carolina. Columbia is the home to several colleges and universities including the University of South Carolina, Benedict College, Midlands Technical College and Columbia International University, just to name a few. Columbia is conveniently located an hour and a half from the coast and also from the mountains. Charleston and Asheville are both within 100 miles of Columbia. HealthSouth is the nation's largest provider of rehabilitative healthcare services. The nurse technician will assist nursing personnel in providing quality client care under the supervision of the nursing supervisor. The technician will cooperate with other personnel to facilitate carryover of the rehabilitation goals which include, but are not limited to, dressing program, positioning, client transfers, and feeding program. The individual will be responsible for the care of patients to include bathing, feeding, assisting with dressing.
