Registered Nursing and Practical Nursing Classroom & Clinical Instructors Medical Careers Institute is currently seeking leaders in the Nursing profession to teach days or evening and weekends in a variety of clinical/classroom environments. Part-time and Full-time positions are available at the Newport News Campus in the Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing programs. Responsibilities include: Provision of classroom and/or clinical instruction, utilization of prepared lesson plans, evaluation of student performance, provision of tutoring as needed, and assessment of clinical performance. Qualifications: Registered Nursing - Must be a Registered Nurse, MSN required. Prior teaching experience preferred. Computer skills considered a plus. Practical Nursing - Must be a Registered Nurse, BSN preferred. Prior teaching experience preferred. Computer skills considered a plus.
