Registered Nurse – ICU (Intensive Care Unit)



RN, ICU , Full Time, Night position, Work Hours: 1800-0600 to include weekends and on-call. Will cross train to other departments and float as needed.





About Us



Memorial Hospital of Carbon County is a 35 bed acute care hospital located in Rawlins, Wyoming. The hospital services a large rural area providing in and outpatient surgery, Intensive Care, OB, OR, and emergency care services. The hospital also provides pharmaceutical, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, physical therapy, lab and histology, MRI, mobile nuclear medicine, Home Health and Adult Home Care.
In addition to our acute care services, the hospital is also home to our Extended Care Facility which provides 10 licensed beds for long term care.

Flexibility
Staffing is based on the needs of the facility. Flexibility to train to other departments is required of all positions. MHCC does not require mandatory stay-home. We are fortunate that our staffing situation has allowed for flexibility for vacation and PTO schedules.


REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Registered Nurse, with current Wyoming licensure or ability to obtain licensure within the state of WyomingRN – previous experience is a plus but will train the right candidate. New grads are welcome to apply.Prefer experience or certification in the following: ACLS Certification or ability to obtain. Experience with Pixus medication delivery system and computerized charting is helpful.Position expectations, clear concise goals:
Must have the ability to become an integral part of a team, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, and have the ability to be flexible and work in other departments and cross-train as needed. Position requires good assessment skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, and the ability to develop strong working relationships with peers, physicians, and other departments.Prefer at least 1 year experience in ICU setting, but will train. New grads are welcome to apply.
