Full Job Title: Registered Nurse- Critical Care Full time night position available Comprehensive benefit package including competitive salary offeredIntroduction:As a critical care nurse at Waterbury Hospital, you will work closely with medical/surgical residency staff and board-certified intensivists to ensure the highest quality care for critically ill or injured patients. You will also value the support of an advanced practice nurse and clinical instructor in the practice of evidence-based care. Waterbury Hospital's 20 bed critical care unit actively involves nurses in a variety of special procedures including intra-aortic balloon pumping, hemodynamic monitoring and intracranial pressure monitoring.Responsibilities:
As a member of the multi-disciplinary care delivery team, the professional nurse practices, delegates and collaborates with other team members to facilitate the coordination and delivery of intensive patient care to the critically ill patient population.Closing:

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. CCRN and ACLS certifications preferred.
