The RN is responsible for providing care to the psychiatric and substance-abusing person utilizing excellence in nursing practice to assist the person in the recovery process. The RN participates as part of a talented multi-disciplinary team including on-site psychiatrists, Primary Therapists, COTAs and Mental Health Workers in providing a therapeutic milieu and maintaining unit safety.
