RN - Operating Room

The Registered Nurse renders individualized, age specific and direct nursing care of operative patients based on the nursing process and patient needs. Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgement in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care. Current RN license in the State of AZ. Prefer one (1) year of acute care experience in hospital operating room setting. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred. CPR required. Must be willing to work on other units as assigned to meet patient needs. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Computer skills preferred.RN must complete a minimum of 24 hours of education annually. Annual requirement can be satisfied by a variety of education processes (mandatory requirements, CEU courses, inservice training, article review, etc.).

ACLS Required
AZ Nursing License
